You are far more up-to-date than me with my doctoral area defense
and dissertation in behaviour genetics from 1971. Could you please tell us
how the A-G, T-C sequence in DNA profiling compares to the older notion of
a "gene profile"? Is a gene locus now an AREA on the double helix with a
number of A-G, T-C sequences? Is an allele more than one A-G, T-C set?
