Subject: [Robot-for-President] New book, Robo Sapiens
When I used the expression "robo sapiens" in "Machine Psychology" I
wasn't aware that anyone else had used it previously. Anyway, same old
issue re the time in history (also part of the Singularity) when we can no
longer differentiate homo sapiens from robo sapiens by all important
criteria of life, intelligence and learning ability. I'll stick with 2012
AD and "the end of history" on the Mayan Calendar re a likely date. By
that time, P3 might be P12, socially interacting on a daily basis with
humans here in BC ("Happy Honda Land") and a lot of folks wondering if the
most highly programmed of the P12's might make the best Premier.

I got email about a new book, "Robo Sapiens: Evolution of a New Species,"
by Faith D'Aluisio and Peter Menzel. According to the promotional
material:
