Hi Steve.

I work in DV and interactive storytelling. As you've pointed out, the
ability to reach a large audience with televised content is getting easier
and easier to do. I'm sure you've heard of technologies like the Trinity
box-- essentially a live broadcast studio in a box.

I think it's clear that 'niche' programming is on the rise-- and I think
you're absolutely right that this community should be thinking about ways in
which to establish a presence in that market.

Since I work as a creative consultant for companies who wish to have an
interactive presence online, my bias is to look for new dynamic ways to
'broadcast.' This doesn't mean that I think that the time has come quite
yet to abandon the TV, however I think its smart to look for ways to
leverage the two media together (broadcast TV and net interactivity.)
