I'm happy to report that a long Singularity essay by me is the cover story
in today's `Australian's Review of Books', a monthly upscale lift-out (`A
Journal of Ideas' is the sub-title) with the national newspaper. The
full-page cover illo is kinda cute: Cary Grant, running in terror through
`North by Northwest' wheat fields, cellphone clipped to his belt, as an
Independence Day monster starship looms across the sky blasting a ferocious
particle beam in his hapless wake.
