writers

Hello,

A few were talking about writers and authors earlier, I have a few
words.

Clive Barker is one of the top ten contemporary authors. I can't talk
about others, this is only from my personal frame of reference which is
not critically literal; I see Clive as one of the most gifted authors of
our time, and one whose work has critical merit now and in the future.
Recommended is _Weaveworld_ for lack of exposure.

Piers Anthony (a pseudonym?) is among the most prolific authors alive,
and ever.

John Irving is a good author, as is Eco. There are many others.

Personally, my attention span at this stage would not provide the output
of a good novel, although I think myself to be a decent writer, and to
be surrounded by many of them.

Last time I posted about fiction was a couple years ago, it is in the
archives somewhere.

Ross
