Not in the religious sense of the word, anyway, but ethnically still.
I'm not a Southern Baptist, but I have come to soften my rejection
of the whole Southern culture a bit, and I can appreciate some of
the richness of the history and the rebellious spirit. I am certainly
not one of those moral/cultural relativists who thinks all traditions
are equal, but there are good things to be learned from lots of cultural
and ethnic traditions without having to accept them whole.
