It takes a lot of personal strength, and a "who cares what ohters think"
attitude.Which I was lucky enough to witness this often as a kid. My dad will
even argue about it with friends, pointing out that they wer wrong. It was
fun to watch... Me, I think just saying politely that you don't believe in
that stuff works just as well.
