Interesting. I just started work on "The Path to Singularity", trying to map out an incremental path between the current state of the software industry and "Coding a Transhuman AI". I don't know that I'll have it ready by the July 4th weekend, though.
You know, it seems to me that the whole difference between being a
futurist and being a Singularitarian is that the futurist sees
possibilities and a Singularitarian sees goals.
