Why I wouldn't dream of bashing Perl here, I would like to point out the utility of Python http://www.python.org , Mailman http://www.list.org , PyApachehttp://www.msg.com.mx/pyapache/ , Zope http://www.zope.org/ , Gadfly http://www.chordate.com/gadfly.html and, of course, diverse m(y)SQL modules in that particular project.
