I don't know if this was a serious question or not, but: We started with hitting rocks together to use as tools, sticks for fire, and eventually the standard manufacturing outfits that caused the industrial revolution.Technology so far has worked that way, down to the micro, getting smaller and smaller, down to the nanoscale.
