Agreed. Saw it tonight--it *is* sci-fi fantasy, with some emphasis on the fantasy. But it will strongly deliver a frightening version of the "technological dystopia caused by runaway AI" meme to the masses of teenagers and young adults that will see it. There's even a cool Moravecian speech by the sentient AI "agent" comparing humans to dinosaurs, since the AI consciousness and new robot-dominated world are the "next level" of evolution of life. In the movie, our mind children have enslaved us, but at least they provide a VR fantasy world to keep us occupied all the time.

I hope I didn't give too much away, because it's really worth seeing.
