Dave Walsh <hellshaw@connect.ie> notifies fringeoids of an excellent item
thru the Netly News Network. Legislation in preparation would apparently
require groups receiving Federal grants to leave their networks open for
government snooping. This would apply to the proposed Internet II and NGI
[Next Generation Internet] as well as university use of the current
