This is a fine axample of "hemline morality", conservative norms that
remain even when they are inapplicable. I wonder if a human with fur
would be considered naked?

Personally I doubt clothing would ever become truly optional for most
people - we live in the wrong climate and need to carry around various
things (OK, the things could presumable bye shrunk, implanted or virtual).
