Well, OK, but the future would not have to be able to pull off Star Trek stuff as in disincorporation, the classic time machine stuff, etc (which sounds really difficult, even given that this new Mallett theory is viable)--they would only have to be able to send information, in particle arrangements, which sounds a lot easier.
