Hi folks,

Some of you space launch/Earth environment people might be interested
to know about some of the workshops and conferences that ESA
or ESTEC (European Space Agency Technology Center) organizes on
spacecraft debris in Earth orbit, earth's plasma and magnetic
environment etc. If you start here:

http://www.estec.esa.nl/conferences/

then follow the links. These pages often contain astronomy astracts,
so I gain alot of information by browsing their conference pages.

The seminar -- presentations of results -- that I just attended
in Noordwijk can be seen at:

http://www.estec.esa.nl/wmwww/wma/fp_days_2001/FPday2001.htm

(my presentation describing Earth dust-debris charging and dynamics is
near the end)

I see also from links that the abstracts for the "First European
Astrobiology Conference" Italy (Robert going to that?)
are online now too.
