There has been a large backlash against revealing security problems. Even
legitimate software testers are afraid to comment on their findings. People
are being sued to suppress truthful statements. In many cases, companies
rather suppress publicity than fix the problem. There is a big legal,
moral, and PR question about whether known bugs should be discussed or
documented publicly.
