"Would you have opposed the transition from hunter-gatherers to farming?"
This is a good question to ask bioethics folks opposed to coming changes.
It turns out that many of the bioethics ethical principles used to
oppose coming changes would also seem to have required that they
have opposed the introduction of agriculture.
