Bravo, Marie!

I, too, felt it necessary to address the barrage of quips and unconstructive
criticism.

What can we do to make a difference? Let's think and converse about THAT.

Now that I'm (unhappily) unemployed, I once again have time to be (happily)
learning! I want to get involved and help further Eliezer's and Ben
Goertzel's work.

An AI reading list, anyone? I have the following books on my shelf. Would
anyone recommend an order to read them in, and/or any other pertinent books?

Computational Explorations in Cognitive Neuroscience - O'Reilly and Munakata
Godel, Escher, Bach - Hofstadter
Cybernetics - Wiener
Crash Course in Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems - Frenzel
Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach - Russel & Norvig
Artificial Intelligence - Haugeland
Artificial Intelligence: Theory, Logic, and Application - Brule
Artificial Intelligence: Theory and Practice - Dean, Allen & Aloimonos
Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence 4
Classification and Cognition - Estes
The Emperor's New Mind - Penrose

Your help is appreciated,

Leonardo
