Yes, I think I have seen it too. Hmm, in the conference proceedings from
the animat conference in Paris last autumn there was a paper about this
lamprey robot. I might have mentioned it.
As for critics, lampreys are fairly good test animals. One look at the
live animal (especially its mouth parts) and even the most ardent animal
lover feels other, more worthy subjects coming up.
