No, I think that such a GLUT in its most extreme
form is NOT conscious, although I will admit that
in March I got the worst of the argument. But I
don't think that it's settled, and will post a
rejoinder soon. The battle was lost, but not the
war :-)

(And this is coming from someone who is a very
hard-core materialist and who, along with David
Deutsch, believes that consciousness arises out
of classical physics.)
