I first saw the story on BBC Online's SciTech section, just yesterday. It
sounds like a very puzzling theory, which the BBC article attributes to
string theory and its descendent, membrane theory. I wonder since there was
supposedly, an extra universe floating about there, if this could be
construed as support of the Many Worlds Interpretation, of Hugh Everett and
Bryce DeWitt, or Guth and Linde's continuously, blossoming Inflation model.
Or could it be neither? Fantasy-wise, its nice to dream about the evil
Zoltarans, just over the next dimension..oooo..shudder!
