I really hope they develop gold as a currency on that ship, would be a shame
to chain everyone down to some governments economy while promising freedom.
Only big issue with that though might be pirates! :)

The May issue of Focus magazine (kind of a slightly more sophisticated
"Popular Science" magazine from the UK) has an article on the Freedom Ship.
Apparently, construction could beigin on this vessel in the next few
months, and is expected to take a couple of years. The construction will
be in Honduras, taking a year for the modular base followed by the
superstructure, the final stages of which will be completed after the ship
has set sail.
