It would be interesting to hear your views on how extropy would
interact with the muslim way (OK, that is a big and complex question,
but we have to start somewhere).

I remember seeing a website for some islamic apologist claiming the
quran accurately describes the universe of modern cosmology by
interpreting one sura as a statement that the universe is closed and
would implode in a Big Crunch. Of course, given current observational
data for an open universe that interpretation is a bit shaky now :-)
