You educate yourself and educate those around you. For example,
there are periodic discussions as to what people have read and are
reading (for example http://www.aeiveos.com/~bradbury/ReadingList).
You probably also try very hard to convince first yourself and
then older people around you that cryonics is "for real".
Then you study your butt off on the technologies and science
involved to see if you can position yourself to surf the big
wave that is coming in.
