My understanding is that ELF does indeed have "members", but no central
organization. It has a classical revolutionary cell structure.
There is no "front office" at all...just a sympathetic journalist who
passes on messages but claims to have no other connection or information.
This might even be true, given how cautious ELF has been, but that hasn't
kept the FBI from raiding the journalist's office and otherwise giving him
a hard time.
