Well, *we* wouldn't, but the FBI would...
IIRC, the ELF uses certain code phrases in its communiques that are kept
out of the press to conclusively identify itself. This is the same
technique that the IRA, Red Army Faction, and other terrorist
organizations have used to claim credit for actions (and seperate
themselves from the hundreds of others who claim credit when
something bad happens).
