Brian wants an all or nothing Extropian OK.

Guess I won't be able to call myself that any longer. I am heartbroken!

Thanks for posting the principles, Emlyn!!!
(I see nothing wrong with the first one, though Emlyn raises some good
points.)

Here's what I like:
Always learning, improving
pushing "natural" boundaries on life extension
self-transforamation (AKA the automorph)
optimism
positive communications with others
Technology for better living
Personal responsibility
Aim towards Utopia
freedom of social mores

I don't like:
declaring reason/rational/critical thinking above other kinds of thought
processes (though I am atheist, I do not require others to be, nor consider
it the proven path of perfection< i like myth, rituals, make believe and
culture)

libertarian politics (AKA anarcho-capitalism - which seems very rocky and
antisocial)

cryonics (arguably not a principle, but it seems to be a very good measuring
stick. It's another area where I don't agree with the pack)

Also those principles IMO leave out some really big arenas of importance,
which I add to my own bag of principles.

Emotional fine tuning,
Sense of humor,
Creative Expression,
Aesthetic Appreciation,
Love and Nurturing
Acceptance and tolerance

PS:

Darn!
