This whole issue is just an ugly confluence of empire building bureaucrats,
cause-needing rebel wannabees, and most importantly, homeowners and property
owners who consciously or otherwise, see the urban sprawl & etc issues as
an opportunity to keep their own property values going up by restricting
supply of homes and other real property.
Their is only one solution is my mind: more supply is needed. Environmental
concerns should be addressed and paid for by everyone.
