Sounds like meeting at the hotel is our best plan.
That is the Crown Plaza Cabana, 4290 El Camino Real, Palo Alto,
at 5:15 PM.
Edward Boyden suggested then going to Thai City, 3691 El Camino:
"Decent food, cheap, fast, and
they'll make any dish vegetarian. Open 5 - 10 PM Sunday."
Spike Jones suggested Black Angus, whatever that is. Scottish?
But wherever people decided to go, PLEASE leave a message
with the hotel concierge saying your group name ("Extropians")
and where you went to. I might not arrive until near 6PM.
You can call me at 301 523 6579 on Sunday, either to tell me
where the group went, or to ask where it went if you haven't
found out (& I have).

PS - I have a problem with your email list nomenclature.
I'm from the Bay area. You folks are from the San Francisco Bay area,
the entire sum of which could fit handily in one corner of the Chesapeake.
