Hmm. I'm genuinely at a loss as to why anyone would find that odd.
It's a pretty straightforward statement--If I offend someone on the
list, ey will not be able to reach across cyberspace and punch me;
If I reply to someone on the list, the reply will be read not only
by em, but by everyone on the list, everyone who later scans the
archives, everyone who happens to find it in a web search, everyone
who reads replies that include it, etc. Why is either of those
observations "weird", or in what way did I not state them clearly?
