Are you sure you don't also have the ability to filter on the "To:"
address? You might think to yourself "why would I? All of my mail is to
me, isn't it?"

However, if you check the headers of the extropians mail in your inbox,
you'll notice that the To: line doesn't contain you at all, only the
extropians list. This, then, provides you with an easy way to filter the
list: move all mail to or cc extropians to a separate folder.

If you *can't* filter on the To: address (which would be weird), you might
want to think about switching mail programs.

On a side note, this happens to be one of the most effective ways of
filtering spam mail there is, since most e-mail sent out by spambots is
also not To: you, or even cc: you, but to an internal address on their
server which then bounces the mail to your mailbox. Moving all mail that
isn't To: you into an "Other" folder greatly reduces the amount of spam
you'll see on your main address.
