And for the poor as well; most just don't realize it. Been there, done
that. The majority of "social" programs created by the Democrats et al.
are responsible for creating and/or perpetuating the vicious cycles that
tend to keep people poor. Yeah, they get "free" stuff, but at the end of
the year, their avenues for a better future are no greater than they were
the year prior. In other words, most government social programs are a
gross misallocation of resources.
My personal experience tends to suggest that there is nothing better for
fighting "poverty" than a robust and rapidly growing economy. Hint, hint.
