I am a bit pessimistic due to the fact that even is every suitable
donor donated their organs, it would still not likely fill the
demand. In the past only otherwise healthy, brain-dead people
(i.e. young men with motorcycles and no helmet ;-) were used, but
gradually as tech advances people use less ideal donors. But you still
can't use organs from people with cancer and many cardiovascular
problems, and that makes up the majority of dying people.

That's why I really like stem cells, tissue enginering, artificial
implants and xenotransplants, they might help solve the disparity.
