Perhaps a little. AIUI, much less is known about the psychology
underlying art than the psychology underlying language, but I suspect
there to be some sort of common meta-pattern, rooted in the evolution of
human cognition, that largely constrains the types of artwork that various
cultures produce or enjoy.
