I don't know what you mean by "unnecessary", (Was it "necessary to change from
Windows 3.1?) that's the way they chose to market there product, and nothing
prevented you from using another browser. If you disagree with the package
they sold then use Apple or LINUX or Be, or better yet, write a better system
and beat them in the market place, not the court room.
