I had never heard of this author or his method. I am building a file of

Does any one else know anything about Disease and Cancer by Ray Kurzweil?
How about the solution proposed by Atkins?
The only contribution I can make is anecdotal. The Atkins type of low
carbohydrate diet is the only one that has ever worked for me without getting
an immediate rebound effect when the diet was over.
