Looks like Vernor Vinge's classic short story "True Names" is being
republished this month. The book itself, _True Names: And the Opening of
the Cyberspace Frontier_ also includes a number of interesting essays by
luminaries such as Hans Moravec, and has inspired the growth of
Singulatarian luminaries like Eliezer Yudkowsky. Advance orders are
