I subscribe to Scientific American, and the cover story on the March issue, which came today, is all about Venus and its evolution. Should be a good counter to the Velikovskian speculations. It won't appear on newsstands for a few days, but watch for it - a dramatic cover painting of a volcanic early Venus.
