I know plenty about carriers, I've been on four. I know the equipment, I was in avionics (ECM) working on A6-E TRAMS and EA6B Prowlers.

I'm not impressed.

Carriers are very good at some things, but have limited range, and a host of other weaknesses. Besides, I live in Chicago, you'd never get one near me.
