convention lee. since extropians are nonconventional types, i propose
we fix
an old problem: the century naming convention. the 17th century is the
16 hundreds. thats made me crazy since forever, and led to countless
misunderstandings.
i propose we name the years 1 to 99 the zeroth century. then the 19th century would be 1 jan 1900 to 31 dec 1999. then everything makes sense. the only thing you need to recall is that the zeroth century had only 99 years, the zeroth decade had 9 yrs, etc. spike
