Watchers of Extropian-transhumanist ideas in the general culture might want
to take a look at the current (March 1998) issue of Icon magazine. Icon
carries profiles of people, with this issue carrying a (rather
unattractive) picture of Michael Stipes on the cover.

If you look in the middle of the "o" in Icon on the cover you'll see the
quote:

"It's not really that cool to be human, in my opinion."

If you turn to page 73, you'll find a three-page interview with me,
covering a variety of topics.

With any luck, this piece will introduce Extropian ideas to many who have
never encountered them before.

Also look out for the next issue of the UK-based .net magazine...
