As for pain, I suggest my own article :-) in Homo Excelsior
(http://www.excelsior.org) - it is likely that mental methods might be
more useful than the old vicodan, especially if you look for more motication.
Healing is something the body usually does well on its own (and takes its
time). I have heard that weak electric fields accelerate regrowth, but the
only data I know of (in amphibians) was as far as I know spurious.
