Who's talking about _waiting_ for a Singularity? Waiting for a
Singularity is not compassion any more than waiting for someone else to
solve world hunger. Actively working for a Singularity is just as
compassionate as working to distribute food packages, and currently
enormously more leveraged given the current disparity in investment
between these two alternate approaches.
