I don't know how much more I read, but what they did was to have the person (might've
been someone else, for all I know!) think of concrete ideas like "up" "down" "left"
"right" and I think some unrelated ones for contrast... and then once they figured out the
general brainwaves for directions, they mapped those onto the mouse. At first, the article
said that it was a conscious effort for the patient to move the mouse, but later it felt like
moving a limb.
