Back when Linda Chamberlain was president of Alcor, Alcor instituted a
requirement that all new members have American insurance. British Alcor
members got pretty upset about this.
The new president, Jerry Lemler, has repudiated many of the policy changes
that Linda started, and I think this is one of the changes he repudiated.
