What fun! I've got the first hard cover copy of my latest sf novel, from
Tor in New York, which has something of a singularity theme. PUBLISHERS
WEEKLY's advance review is kinda cute, and accurate in a way that makes me
smile: they called it CHILDHOOD'S END meets CLUELESS. I'd have thought
MAROONED IN REALTIME meets CLUELESS, but hey, close enough. The cover is a
tad... I dunno... young adultish (and the jacket copy mistakenly calls one
of the characters a teenager, when he's clearly older than that), with a
faintly MATRIX-like zing to it. I can live with that--indefinitely, I hope.
