Throughout my short life, very rarely have I seen people discuss ( what would
be considered ) private matters in order to answer a simple ( sounding )
question. Simply answering: "I moved to Holland a few years ago because of
health issues" would not have satisfied a genuinely curious person. Very few
persons would actually push it further, by politeness and/or respect.
In order to avoid 'filling gaps' later (for those who would push it further,
not that it means that they're rude or anything ) I went: "Okay, here's
why...." and gave some background info. The curious person is now ( I would
hope so ) satisfied. That leaves all the other non-curious people, people
with low bandwidth, little time, high-costs connections, little patience,
time-is-money people, etc... For those, I said: "If I bore some of you:
apologies". I therefore, was not kidding.
PS: 'Curious' refers to 'curious about Arona', not general curiosity.
