Unfortunately no. The mutant strain of mice were highly resistant to
cancer but they aged faster and died 20% more quickly of other things
than regular mice, not a good trade off. However two of the 200
mice in the experiment did not get cancer and did not age unusually
fast either, so there must be a way around the problem.
