Bees are sometimes referred to as "angry" when irritated by meddlers or when
their hives are disturbed. Remember that without bees, plants (crops) don't
get pollinated, and that can lead to massive starvation. So, again anger (in
this case insect anger) serves to enhance ecological cooperation.
