Nicely put! Much of the failure of the traditional Left (not to mention the
Right & Centre), at least here in Oz, in terms of futurian thinking can be
laid at their 19th century obsession with "work", "jobs" & "unions" -
stepping outside the boundaries of wage slavery with onrushing technologies
just doesn't seem to occur to them or if it does it is within a position of
fear...
